A project portfolio with room to breathe
Twenty-five project pages, each with the brief, the site constraints and the design response, filterable by new build, renovation and development. The photography leads; the context does the selling.
CASE STUDY / ARCHITECTURE
Invilla designs award-winning custom homes across South East Queensland. Their website did not rank, did not explain the fixed-fee model and did not turn strong photography into briefed enquiries. Twelve months on, organic clicks are up 247% and the studio ranks in the top three for 44 search terms.

Invilla had everything a prospective client should want to see: a Master Builders House of the Year, national television features, a fixed-fee model and more than a hundred completed homes. Almost none of it was working online. In August 2025, three months before the new site went live, the old site averaged position 44.8 in Google, which is page five. Award-winning projects sat in a gallery with no story, the three service lines blurred into one, and the only way to start a conversation was a contact form.
The brief was to make the architecture the hero, explain how the studio thinks and charges, and turn the search demand that already existed around Queenslanders, knock-down rebuilds and building costs into enquiries that arrive with a budget and a brief.

Architectural design, interior design and pre-development analysis each got their own page, their own process and their own next step, so a visitor with a development site does not read like a first-home renovator.
A four-step tool that takes location, budget tier, project type and style and returns a genuine quote range drawn from the studio’s own projects, plus a drafted brief. Enquiries now arrive qualified.
A dedicated awards and media page, named Google reviews on a testimonials page and the credentials in the footer, so the proof is on the site rather than in a drawer.
Guides on Queenslander renovations, knock-down rebuild costs, demolition costs, natural light and luxury house plans, written for the questions Brisbane owners actually type into Google.
A fast, self-hosted Next.js site with structured data, a clean sitemap, service-area pages and Search Console wired up from day one, so every change can be measured.

The same guides that rank in Google are being pulled into AI-generated answers. That is a second front door most builders and architects do not have yet.

THE TAKEAWAY
Invilla’s photography earned attention for years. What changed the numbers was giving that attention somewhere to go: a project story, a service that fits, a fee the visitor can estimate, and guides that meet people at the start of their search rather than the end.
